Hospitality / Greeters Ministry – Our Hospitality and Greeters Ministry is under the direction of Sister Debra Childress and Sister Elsa Floyd.
Ministry Purpose: The Hospitality Leader is responsible for showing our members the love of the church through special services such as receptions, lunches and general hospitable practices. The Hospitality Leader has a major role in making all guests and members feel that their special time is special to the church as well.
Mission Statement: 1 Corinthians 12:28 refer to greeters as the ministry of helps. We help the Pastor fulfill the vision God has given him by making those who come through the doors of the church feel at home. It is our responsibility to let visitors and members know that we humbly appreciate them fellowshipping with us.
Vision Statement: This ministry will assist the Bishop in welcoming visiting pastors and members of various churches to End Time. The Hospitality/Greeters ministry is a ministry of love. We strategically place people in various "high traffic or volume' areas of the church in order to serve others. We are friendly, kind and represent End Time, in a professional manner. We know and understand the importance of the persons that we seek to serve and the need for human kindness.
Ministry Responsibilities:
- Shall oversee and supervise all operations of the Hospitality Ministry.
- Shall develop and manage team members to help with all areas within the Hospitality Ministry.
- Shall follow-up on all responsibilities delegated to your Ministry members.
- Shall keep the Bishop apprised of needs and conditions within your Ministry.
- Shall maintain a positive attitude in all that you do.
- Shall be an example to the Church in soul winning by continually being involved in the outreach ministry of your choice with Bishop approval.
- Shall be an example to the Church in spiritual growth by coming at least 30 minutes early to pray before each service.
- Shall remember that your service to God goes beyond the church service and building. Your actions outside the church also dictate people’s response to the effectiveness of your ministry.
