Catering Ministry— Our catering Ministry is under the direction of Missionary Levona Jones, Evangelist Meme Davis, Sister Jovita Williams, Sister Betsy Pugh and Sister Kenya Jordan.
Ministry Vision: To assist the church and leadership for special events by catering to the whole man, including the basic physical need for sustenance.
Ministry Purpose: The Catering Ministry will coordinates the meals for special events at the church, such as 1st Sunday Fellowship, Anniversary, Homecoming, Men's Day, Women's Day, and Youth Day. This ministry will also provide "Early Morning Brew" where you can stop off and grab a cup of coffee, fruit, or a donut before Sunday worship. The Catering Ministry will also partners with organizations in the community in support of worthy causes.
Matthew 14:19-20 (KJV) says, “ 19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
Ministry Responsibilities:
- Shall oversee and supervise all operations of the Catering Ministry.
- Shall develop and manage team members to help with all areas within the Catering Ministry.
- Shall keep the Bishop apprised of needs and conditions within your Ministry.
- Shall maintain a positive attitude in all that you do.
- Shall be an example to the Church in soul winning by continually being involved in the outreach ministry of your choice with Bishop approval.
- Shall be an example to the Church in spiritual growth by coming at least 30 minutes early to pray before each service.
- Shall remember that your service to God goes beyond the church service and building. Your actions outside the church also dictate people’s response to the effectiveness of your ministry.
